Two Cayuga County officials are teaming up to give residents a chance to obtain two important documents.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, County Clerk Sue Dwyer and Veterans Service Agency Director Larry Wilt will offer residents a chance to apply for passports and veterans an opportunity to sign up for veterans Deal Today cards at the Fingerlakes Mall, 579 Clark Street Road, Aurelius.
For residents seeking passports, photos will be taken on site by Dwyer. To learn about passport fees and what documentation is required to apply, call the clerk's office at (315) 253-1271. Applications can be downloaded at travel.state.gov.
The veterans discount card is free and comes with a list of the more than 150 local businesses that offer discounts.
